Becoming True Neighbours

April 28, 2024 • Pastor Manoj Varughese

You must have heard the famous quote, “You can choose your friend, but you can’t choose your family.” What about choosing your neighbour? Well, Jesus was asked a question by an expert religious leader, “Who’s my neighbour?”. Instead of giving a one-word answer, Jesus told him a story that became popular as ‘the good Samaritan’ story. This week, Pastor Manoj is preaching a sermon titled Becoming True Neighbours based on Luke 10: 25-37.

The Bread of Life

April 21, 2024 • Gary Overett • Luke 9

In Luke chapter 9, at the feeding of the 5000, we see how Jesus met the needs of the crowd while providing teaching and guidance for his disciples. He trains them to understand their future mission as well as showing them how to depend on him to complete it. We have the opportunity to learn of God's provision as well. This week, Gary Overett is sharing a sermon titled The Bread of Life based on Luke 9:10-17.

April 7, 2024 • Pastor Manoj Varughese • Luke

When was the last time you heard God speak to you? How will you respond to God if you haven't heard God speak for a long time, and suddenly He breaks the silence for you? Luke, in the first two chapters of his Gospel account, presents several people whose lives changed forever because God spoke to them in an unexpected place and manner. During the next seventy days (10 weeks), we plan to read through the Gospel of Luke, and each week, we will receive weekly reading portions to help us stay focused.
